Operational Risk New Joiner Training I

On 29 October 2025, the Operational Risk Team conducted an Operational Risk Awareness Training for new joiners, including Branch Managers, 2ICs, Operations In-Charges, Relationship Managers, Customer Service Associates, Tellers, and Management Trainees, at the Head Office of Myanmar Citizens Bank Public Company Limited (Sule).
The training provided participants with knowledge and awareness of internal operational risk instructions, compliance requirements, key operational risk areas to avoid, and reports regularly requested by the Operational Risk Team.
The objectives of the training were as follows:

  • To enhance understanding of Operational Risk Management.
  • To explain operational processes and the do’s and don’ts to be followed in daily banking operations.
  • To provide guidance on Incident Reporting, which must be submitted promptly in the event of unusual occurrences in daily operations.
  • To improve understanding and compliance with checklists and periodic reports required by the Operational Risk Team.

    This training enables staff to identify potential operational risks and losses in the workplace and to take appropriate preventive measures. Operational risk training is regularly conducted by the Operational Risk Team.
