On 23th and 29th May 2019, representatives from Myanmar Citizens Bank signed MOUs with Mandalay Yoma Co., Ltd, More Than Water (MTW) Engineering and Trading Co., Ltd, Royal Htoo Linn Manufacturing Co., Ltd, Myanmar Water Engineering and Products Co., Ltd, MAST Myanmar Technology Co., Ltd, SOLARISES SYSTEM Co., Ltd and Indigo Energy under the EU Switch Asia Project, “Catalyzing Sustainable Water and Energy Management in Food & Beverage Industries in the Ayeyarwady River Basin” at Myanmar Citizens Bank.
The World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF), Myanmar Food Processors and Exporters Association (MFPA) and Savings Banks Foundations for International Cooperation (SBFIC) are accomplishing the project which aims to bring out the good manufacturing practices reducing pollutions in Myanmar Food and Beverages Sector with the objectives of providing banking procedures, policies and funds for Energy Efficiency (EE), Renewable Energy (RE), Wastewater Management (WWM) and Process Equipment Updates (PEU), and intensive analysis relating energy and technical advices relating EE, RE, WWM, PEU and MSM in accord with the needs of the bank and clients with the support through Tha Bar Wa.
