Operational Risk Training (May 2026)

On 18 May 2026, the Operational Risk Team of the Integrated Risk & Compliance Department at the Head Office of Myanmar Citizens Bank Ltd. conducted a training session for 62 new joiners, CSAs and Tellers.
The training session covered Operational Risk and Fraud Awareness, operational procedures, required dos and don’ts, and CEO Circulars. The session aimed to enhance participants’ understanding of banking operational procedures, compliance requirements, and risk awareness.
The objectives of the training were:

  • To ensure employees understand and comply with the operational procedures required in banking operations.
  • To raise awareness of the consequences and disciplinary actions resulting from non-compliance with established rules and regulations.
  • To ensure that employees strictly follow the prescribed dos and don’ts to support smooth operational processes.
  • To understand about fraud and fraudulent activities.
  • To understand the importance of a whistleblowing culture.
