Internal Compliance Training

The purpose of the Internal Compliance Training is to enhance staff awareness and understanding of the instructions governing banking operations. This training aims to ensure that staff are well informed of the rules and regulations applicable to banking business, thereby enabling them to perform their daily banking activities efficiently and smoothly.
The trainees include Branch Managers, 2ICs, Operations In-Charges, Relationship Managers, Customer Service Associates, Tellers, and Management Trainees.
The training covered the following topics:

  • Know Your Customer (KYC) – key tips and requirements.
  • Customer identity verification and verification processes
  • TTR/STR procedures
  • Risk assessment procedures
  • Record-keeping procedures
  • Issued internal bank instructions

The Bank’s Integrated Risk and Compliance Department conducts monthly internal compliance training for staff.
