Duties & Responsibilities
The incumbent will also be responsible for the portfolio of government relationship sectors.
Be in charge of implementing the relationship strategy plan and marketing and selling business loans, tender loans, and Bank Guarantee products to corporate and enterprise clients for market gain and target-and objective attainment.
Induce potential clients and maintain existing ones in banking relationships.
Identify cross-selling opportunities for other non-credit products, i.e., deposits, cards, etc.
Ensure compliance with the bank’s internal policies, governing regulations, and risk management policies while managing a client portfolio.
Build and sustain a good relationship with key stakeholders within government agencies and corporate clients.
Market research and competitor analysis to distill major opportunities for recommending strategic improvement.
Requirements
Any degree or qualification in Sales & Marketing or any related fields will suffice.
We are conversant with the government tendering industry.
Negotiation-savvy and possess effective communication skills.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills and a sound attitude toward problem-solving.
Solidly proven experience in a Business-to-Government or Business-to-Business Sales Manager/Assistant Manager role (Sales or front-line relationship type experience).
