Job Description

The Offline Marketing Assistant focuses on traditional, experiential, and physical brand presence. Their primary goal is to drive brand awareness, manage physical assets, and execute local marketing initiatives.

1. Event & Activation Management

  • On-Ground Execution: Coordinate and execute corporate events, product launches, pop-up activations, and workshops.
  • Media Coordination: Arrange and manage on-site vendors, including professional photographers, videographers, and decorators, ensuring high-quality coverage of physical events.
  • Logistics Handling: Manage timelines, vendor contracts, venue setups, and breakdown procedures for marketing events.

2. Collateral & BTL (Below-The-Line) Marketing

  • Print Production: Supervise the design, proofing, and printing of offline materials like vinyl banners, brochures, flyers, and business cards.
  • Premium Merchandising: Oversee the sourcing and quality control of high-end corporate gifts, branded merchandise, and VIP client packages.
  • Visual Merchandising: Ensure physical branding at branches, retail outlets, or partnership locations aligns with premium brand standards.

3. Localized Campaigns & Sponsorships

  • Sponsorship Coordination: Handle administrative workflows, budget requests, and on-ground branding rights for local events and community partnerships.
  • Competitive Tracking: Monitor physical marketing activities, BTL campaigns, and local market trends of direct competitors.
  • Budgeting Assistance: Maintain records of offline marketing expenditures, track invoices, and cross-reference them against assigned project budgets.

Qualifications & Skills

1. Experience & Education

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
  • Experience: 1–3 years of experience in event management, traditional marketing, corporate communications, or procurement/vendor management.

2. Core Competencies & Technical Skills

  • Vendor & Print Management: Understanding of print media specifications (e.g., color profiles, sizing like 2′ x 5′ vinyl structures, paper weights and vendor negotiation.
  • Project Management: Ability to manage tight deadlines, track multiple physical assets simultaneously, and handle logistics under pressure.
  • Software Proficiency: Basic familiarity with project tracking tools, Excel for budget documentation, and basic design/photo-reviewing capabilities to evaluate marketing assets.

3. Soft Skills & Physical Requirements

  • On-Ground Agility: High energy and flexibility to work on-site during weekend activations or multi-day corporate strategy workshops.
  • Interpersonal Communication: Excellent relationship-building skills to manage high-profile external vendors, corporate partners, and internal departments.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot logistical issues on the fly (e.g., technical delays during an event, incorrect print deliveries).
