Trade Sales Relationship Manager (Team Lead )

Job Description

  • Develop and implement Trade Sales strategy in alignment with the Bank’s overall business objectives.
  • Drive trade revenue growth, asset expansion, and maintain strong portfolio quality.
  • Identify new business opportunities and expand trade relationships within corporate and SME segments.
  • Deepen existing client relationships and integrate trade solutions into comprehensive banking offerings.
  • Lead, supervise, and motivate the Trade Sales team to achieve sales and performance targets.
  • Monitor team performance and provide coaching to enhance productivity and capability.
  • Structure and review trade proposals to ensure alignment with customer needs and risk standards.
  • Participate in key client meetings and support Relationship Managers in delivering tailored trade solutions.
  • Coordinate with Operations, Customer Service, and Branches to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Monitor overall trade performance and recommend initiatives for continuous improvement.

 Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Banking, Finance, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s degree is an advantage).
  • Minimum X years of experience in Trade Finance, Corporate Banking, or Trade Sales, with team leadership experience.
  • Strong knowledge of trade finance products (LC, BG, TR, Import/Export Financing, etc.).
  • Proven track record in achieving revenue targets and managing trade portfolios.
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Good understanding of credit risk, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.
