QA Analyst

Job Description

  • Develop detailed test plans, test scenarios, and test cases covering all Core Banking modules and business processes.
  • Validate standard functionalities, local customizations, interface behaviors, and parameter changes against business requirements.
  • Execute testing activities, record results, identify defects, and document steps with clear evidence (screenshots, logs, reports).
  • Coordinate with functional support, development teams, and vendors to track, retest, and close defects within defined timelines.
  • Report testing progress, defect metrics, and readiness status to project leads and management.
  • Maintain structured test documentation, traceability matrices, sign-off documents, and audit-ready records.
  • Ensure compliance with internal quality standards, regulatory requirements, and change management procedures.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or related discipline.
  • 2–5 years of experience in QA/testing within a Core Banking System environment, Temenos T24/Transact preferred.
  •  Strong understanding of banking products, operational workflows, and end-to-end transaction lifecycles.
  • Familiarity with defect management tools.
  • Good analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to read logs, understand field/value behaviors, and validate parameter impacts.
  • Working knowledge of Linux environments, basic SQL queries, and log retrieval.
  • Good English language skills (reading, writing, understanding).
