Strategic Partnership Officer

Job Summary

Strategic Partnership Officer is responsible for identifying, developing, and managing partnerships with merchants, corporates, associations, organizations and other potential partners to expand MCB Bank’s ecosystem. The role focuses on creating exclusive benefits and value-added programs for customers, increasing engagement with MCB products such as Cards, Digital Banking, and Payroll Services, and supporting customer acquisition and business growth through effective partnership initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and onboard strategic partners to expand MCB Bank’s partnership ecosystem.
  • Build and maintain good relationships with partners, including merchants, corporates, associations, organizations, institutions and other business partners.
  • Identify new partnership opportunities that support customer acquisition, product adoption, and business growth.
  • Coordinate the preparation, execution, renewal and maintenance of partnership agreements.
  • Work with partners to develop exclusive offers, discounts and value-added benefits for MCB customers.
  • Promote MCB Bank’s products and services including Cards, Digital Banking, Deposits, Payroll Services, Loans, Hire Purchase and other banking solutions through partnership initiatives.
  • Support the planning and execution of joint marketing campaigns and promotional activities with partners.
  • Monitor partnership performance and prepare regular reports on customer engagement, transaction volume, campaign results and business outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate records of partner information, agreements and partnership activities.
  • Coordinate with internal departments including Business, Marketing, Operations, Product, IT, Legal and Compliance to ensure successful implementation of partnership initiatives.
  • Act as the primary contact for partners and assist in resolving operational and service-related issues.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify potential partners and new business opportunities.
  • Perform other duties and ad hoc projects as assigned.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Economics or a related field.
  • minimum 2 years of experience in partnership development, business development, sales, marketing, merchant acquisition or related roles (depending on level).
  • Experience in banking, fintech, payments, digital products or customer engagement programs is preferred.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
  • Ability to identify potential partners and develop business opportunities.
  • Good understanding of customer engagement, partnership programs and business growth initiatives.
  • Ability to coordinate with internal teams and external partners to deliver partnership activities.
  • Good analytical skills with the ability to monitor performance and prepare reports.
  • Self-motivated, proactive and able to work independently with multiple stakeholders.
  • Good presentation and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Good command of English communication skills.
  • Able to travel if required.
