Job Descriptions

Brand Strategy & Management

  • Develop and execute annual and long-term brand strategies aligned with MCB’s corporate and business objectives.
  • Strengthen brand positioning, proposition, personality and differentiation in the banking market.
  • Maintain and continuously improve MCB’s brand architecture and brand identity system.
  • Act as the primary brand custodian and ensure consistent brand application across the organization.
  • Monitor brand awareness, consideration, preference, perception and other brand-health indicators.

Integrated Marketing Campaigns

  • Lead the development of 360° brand and product campaigns across ATL, BTL, digital, social, PR, activation, branch and partnership channels.
  • Translate business objectives into clear campaign strategies and creative briefs.
  • Manage the full campaign lifecycle from strategy and briefing through execution, monitoring and post-campaign evaluation.
  • Ensure campaigns are delivered on time, within budget and according to agreed objectives.
  • Establish campaign KPIs and conduct post-campaign analysis to identify ROI and improvement opportunities.

Product Marketing & GTM

  • Partner with Product, Retail Banking, Corporate, SME, Cards, Digital Banking and other business units on product launches and GTM initiatives.
  • Develop customer propositions, positioning, key messages and communication strategies for banking products.
  • Support acquisition, product penetration, deposit growth, transaction growth and other commercial objectives through marketing.
  • Ensure product communication remains consistent with the overall MCB master brand.

Brand Governance & Customer Experience

  • Develop and maintain brand guidelines, standards and implementation frameworks.
  • Review and approve brand applications across branches, ATMs, digital channels, marketing materials, events,sponsorships, merchandising and customer communications.
  • Conduct periodic brand audits and identify inconsistencies.
  • Work with relevant teams to ensure the intended brand experience is reflected across physical and digital customer touchpoints.

Consumer, Market & Competitor Insights

  • Monitor customer behavior, banking trends, competitor activities and emerging market opportunities.
  • Conduct or coordinate quantitative and qualitative research where required.
  • Translate customer and market insights into actionable brand and campaign recommendations.
  • Maintain regular competitor benchmarking and identify opportunities to differentiate MCB.

Agency, Vendor & Stakeholder Management

  • Manage relationships with creative agencies, media agencies, research partners, production vendors and other external partners.
  • Develop clear agency briefs and evaluate creative proposals against brand and business objectives.
  • Coordinate cross-functionally with Business, Digital, Product, Sales, Corporate Communications, Operations and other stakeholders.
  • Present campaign proposals, brand recommendations and performance results to senior management when required.

Budget & Performance Management

  • Develop and manage assigned annual brand and campaign budgets.
  • Ensure effective allocation of marketing expenditure.
  • Establish measurable KPIs for major initiatives.
  • Track brand and campaign performance and prepare management reports.
  • Improve marketing effectiveness through post-campaign evaluation, ROI analysis and continuous optimization.

Team Leadership

  • Lead, coach and develop Brand/Marketing team members under the role.
  • Provide strategic direction and quality control for projects.
  • Establish clear responsibilities, timelines and performance expectations.
  • Encourage collaboration between Brand, Digital, Creative, Activation and Production functions.

Requirements

  • Relevant diploma, professional certification, or equivalent qualification in Marketing, Business Administration,Communications, or a related field.
  • Minimum 6–8 years of experience in Brand Management, Marketing Communications or related disciplines.
  • At least 2–3 years in a managerial/leadership capacity preferred.
  • Banking, financial services, fintech, telecom or other highly competitive consumer-sector experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience managing integrated campaigns and major brand initiatives.
  • Experience in product marketing/GTM, agency management and marketing budget management.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing and contemporary customer journeys
