Credit Portfolio Analyst (Assistant Manager)
Job Description
Portfolio Monitoring & Building: Oversee daily portfolio tracking and updates, ensuring that credit exposures are accurately reflected and aligned with business and risk parameters.
Credit Quality Management: Maintain and update Non-Performing Loan (NPL) and Pre-NPL master files to closely monitor potential risk defaults and ensure early identification of credit deterioration.
Analytical Review: Conduct Vintage Analysis of disbursed loans to evaluate repayment behaviors over time, identify emerging trends, and assess portfolio health.
Delinquency & Recovery Oversight: Track overdue accounts, document recovery progress, and maintain a structured database of legal cases to ensure transparency in the overall process.
Reporting & Insights: Prepare and circulate weekly and monthly risk management reports using systems such as T24 and other integrated Bank’s system. Reports will include key performance indicators, delinquency trends, recovery updates, and overall risk exposure levels.
Collaboration & Liaison: Work closely with the Credit Underwriting, Credit Administration, Recovery, Legal, Risk Management, and other relevant Departmentsto ensure consistent portfolio oversight and alignment with institutional risk appetite.
Ad Hoc Activities: To assist in any urgent request and any ad hoc activities as assigned by direct reporting persons or as required by Management Team.
Job Requirements
Any degree, Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field.
3+ years in credit risk, portfolio analysis, or NPL management (banking/financial institution preferred).
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
